1921 - Türkiye, Ermenistan'la barış anlaşması yaptı.
Atatürk'ün, -Dışişleri Bakan Vekili Ahmet Muhtar Bey'in dış siyasetle ilgili beyanatı münasebetiyle- Büyük Millet Meclisi'nde konuşması: "Hükümetin siyaseti, gayet belirgin ve açık bir siyasettir ve bu siyasette ekseriyetimize veya heyet-i umumiyemize değil, milletin heyet-i umumiyesini dayanmakta olduğuna tam kanaati vardır." 1920 - Milletvekilleri Mustafa Kemal ile görüşmeye başladı.
Meclis-i Mebusan'a katılacak mebusların bazısı Ankara'ya gelmeye başladı. Aralarında Dr. Adnan (Adıvar), Cami Bey (Baykurt) ve A. Azmi Bey gibi isimlerin bulunduğu mebuslar Misak-ı Milli'nin ilk taslağı ile Mustafa Kemal'in meclis başkanlığına getirilmesi konusunu tartıştı.
